Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six is a video gamefranchise published by Ubisoft that is based on American author Tom Clancy's 1998 novel Rainbow Six. The franchise and its games center around the fictional internationalcounter-terroristunit called 'Rainbow'.

Video games[edit]

The first game was developed by Red Storm Entertainment, while the novel was being written.[1] Red Storm was later acquired by Ubisoft, who continues to publish the games, while mobile phone versions of the game are developed and published by Gameloft.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is a first person shooter. It was released on May 12, 2015 and is made by Ubisoft.

In the game you can play 3 online game modes. The first one is “Hostage” the objective is to either capture/protect the hostage. Another game mode is “Bomb”, where you must try to defuse a bomb or protect it before the enemy stops it. The last game mode for online is “Secure the Area”, where you must protect/destroy a biohazard container.

In “Terrorist hunt” mode you and a team of 5 must find a hostage whilst fighting through heavily armed terrorists.

The final game mode you can play is “Situations”. This is like a story mode but you only have 11 levels.

When you are playing the game you must choose your character.
